Monday, January 26, 2009
Two men, Abdoulie Secka and Lamin Konteh, who were arraigned before Magistrate Sainabou Wadda-Ceesay of the Kanifing Magistrates Court yesterday for breaking into a Bakau Madiba Kunda house, were sentenced to two months imprisonment.

The duo is said to have stolen a gas bottle and three travelling bags from the house on December 31, 2008. They had both pleaded guilty. In addition to two month fine, they were also asked to pay a compensatory D500 each to the complainant, Negada Gomez, who had travelled to Lamin when the two broke into his house.
