Monday, October 01, 2007

Scorpions' talisman Ousman Jallow, stole the glory in the Arab Etisalat League for the first week running, when he scored his maiden hat-trick for FC Al Ain in the 4-1 drubbing of Basraha United in their first league match on Friday, September 28.

The mesmeric and powerful striker opened the scoring with a powerful effort in the 36th minute, before doubling the advantage in the 42nd minute.

Two minutes later, Jallow, found the net again to  take his tally for the day to three goals and become the first player to score a hat-trick this season at United Arab Emirate.

The former Wallidan forward who spent the previous season on loan at Casablanca in Morocco, expressed delight at the inspirational victory. He said his target for the season, is to score more than 20 goals this season, having had a very successful pre-season with the United Arab Emirate Club.

"I hope to have a successful stint this season. I want to score as many goals as possible, and if possible over 20 goals for this season," said the elated forward who continue to enjoy a great press coverage in the popular Arab league.
