The death is announce of Mr Alphonso Davies

of Old Jeshwang. He was a member of Wesley Methodist Church, Banjul, Wesley Men's Fellowship and Stewards' Union, and also a member of Gambia Methodist Laymen's Association. This sad event occured on Friday 11th April 2008.

He is survived by his mother,

Mrs Sallay Conteh of Easton Street Freetown, Haja Fatma Ceesay and family of 33 Long Street, Banjul. Close Friends include: Mr Louis Sarkis of Afrifood, Mr Michael Oseh Sock of Kanifing South, Mr Sammy Walcot Davies of Fajara, Mr Richard Campbell and family, Mr Abdul Wahid Thomas of Latrikunda German, Mr Aahmed Deen of Photo Star, Mr Festus John, Mr Ernest Pratt and family, Mr Hassan Kamara, Mr Soriba Sesay and family Latrikunda German, Mr Sidi Bah of Banjul, Mr George Max Bailor of Banjul, Mr Colenzo Grant and family of Banjul, Officers and Members of Catholic Men's Solidarity

(Our Lady of the Assumption), Members of St. Patricks Vous of Picton Street, Banjul, all Sierra-Leoneans, friends & relatives in The Gambia & abroad.

Funeral Service will take place at Wesley Methodist Church on Friday 18th April 2008 at 4.30pm and Interment at Banjul Cemetery.

Sympathizers may call at 33 Long Street, Banjul.
