Mbayick Faye a servant/clerk at The Gambia Scout Association (GSA) was on Monday arrainged before the Bundung magistrate court presided over by senior magistrate Kumba Sillah Camara charged with stealing contrary to section 252 of the criminal code.

According to the particulars of the offence on March 24, 2004 at GSA national office at Bakoteh in the Kanifing municipality,   Mbayick Faye being a clerk or servant, stole the sum of D124, 882 (one hundred and eighty four thousand, eight hundred and two dalasis) the property of The Gambia scout association.

Mbayick Faye pleaded not guilty to the charge preferred against him, when the case was called.

He was granted bail in the sum of D 200,000 with one Gambia surity. The case was adjourned to April 21.
