Congratulations my Brothers and Sisters in Taiwan!

Editor,

They came from a small African country to the Island of Taiwan in search of wisdom in other to transform their country with the metaphorical dream of their President in achieving VISION 2020.

They landed on the soils of Neptune (far away from the sun), who's people knew nothing about the black race, and seeing a black man created an imagination in there ego of how this can be "all black but the palm is white" hahaha laughs by the people.

The treasure hunt for knowledge begins, they entered the class room of death where subjects speak languages of there own, calculus speaking from negative infinity integrated to positive infinity, physics starting with f = ma playing a drama of visualization making there super-ego battling up with there ego, suddenly confusion rise in their minds, abhorrence born deep in their hearts, division came in within the group, they nearly fought, people cried, got sick rapidly and cannot be diagnosed by the expert doctors, starved themselves just to go back home but none was successful. I wonder why but believed they were missing their folks, daily dishes like "superkanja", "domoda", "Cheb-bu jen and mbahal" whose aroma got out of the kitchen to the streets of serekunda ah "yy", as the Chinese food was tasteless and could not be digested but causing miserable behavior in the stomach ....by then.

To my surprise they took the bull by the horn starting to hit the nail harder, overcoming the challenges to realize their priorities in the Island and also burning the mid-night candles in the library while sleepless nights awaits them, with their pillows been so lonely as to no head was put to rest on them. With this relentless efforts they surprise the school authorities with there academic performances "bravo to you all says the president of the school".

As ages pass-by, long gone the historic moments of the early days to the end of a memorable day where gowns were worn to breath new life in there hearts and washing away the sins of the old age, smiles of joy plundered in their hearts for there was no cause for sorrow and all hearts were reunited making the cheers of their teeth shines as bright as the morning star and brightening their future glory to transform the Gambia's Dream of VISION 2020 into Reality.

CONGRATULATIONS my Brothers and Sisters for accomplishing the long journey with the heavy burden on your shoulders "though the journey was long but you never loose your faith to this day". I wish you all the best of luck in your future Endeavors, for the Gambia awaits you. God Bless You All. Kind Regards

Benjamin Kofi Kujabi.

Editor's Note: Bravo indeed, brings back memories of a 20 year-old me freezing by a Scottish log fire in the middle of winter, but the determination to learn always remained. Those who haven't been there never know!
