Wednesday, July 09, 2008
Seedy Bojang, a Gambian journalist and a literary icon of recent times has authored another  book entitled "Bumpy Journey".

The book depicts an account of the deadly sea voyage by Africans who illegally risk their lives in undertaking the perilious journey to the developed countries.

According to the author, it is one of the most burning issues of the day.  "It brings into light the horrendous and precarious lifestyle that awaits illegal migrants who struggle daily to seek greener pastures," he stated.

An independent critic who reviewed the book, noted that it is well articulated to serve as an eye-opener for others. He observed that the book is user-friendly as the story is up-to-date on the effects of illegal migration.

Printed in Nigeria, the book is published by a British publisher, Derek Annable.
