One Omar Sowe of London Corner was, on Thursday, arraigned before Magistrate Abdoulie Mbake of the Kanifing Magistrates Court, charged for felony contrary to the laws of The Gambia.

According to the particulars of the offence, Omar Sowe on 10 July, in the early hours of the morning, unlawfully entered the compound of one Abdourahman Jallow, a mechnanic in London Corner and attempted to steal his satellite disc from the roof. He was seen by the plaintiff's wife who ran off to inform her husband. Mr Sowe was apprehended and taken to the Serrekunda Police Station.

When the charge sheet was read to Mr Sowe, he pleaded not guilty saying he was at work during the day in question.

Magistrate Mbake, at this juncture, ordered the case to be adjourned to Thursday, 14th August, for continuation.
