Lovelines

I am confused and I need help. I have been going out with a man for 7 years without him lying to me. I trust him with all my heart despite the fact that we are far from each other (staying in different regions). He promises to marry me. When I presented him to my parents, my mother told me that she had strange feelings about him and that he will disappoint me.

Later on, I started having numerous nightmares about him. I confronted him and asked if he ever had a wife but he lied and said "you are the only woman I love and want as a wife." In brief, I was disappointed when I realised that he has a lady somewhere who has a 6-month-old baby for him. But he kept denying this but later said yes, she is just a girlfriend but he will not marry her. He wants me to forgive him because he loves me. I don't know what to do!

Honest is the best policy. Your text is a very long one that I checked line by line. Since this guy has begged for forgiveness, try to forgive him. This do happen, mostly in a long term relationship and when partners are not residing in the same vicinity. However, after forgiveness, try to have a lover's true dialogue with him so that he can tell you his mind; if he really wants to continue with the relation and fulfil his promises or not. Tell him to be honest with you. Try to reach an agreement and have future plans that will take care of you and the family you are going to produce. But if you notice anything that is untrue in his words or actions then let him go. In a nutshell, give him a second trial because a known devil is better than an unknown angel. But do not act as if you want him by all means, his actions and words should come from the depth of his heart. Good luck!
