Hawks head coach Sand Ndong has been elected by the nawettan clubs as chairperson of the new Serrekunda West Sports Committee, Observer Sports can reveal.

The clubs also named former Gambia Under-20 coach, Peter Bonu Johnson, as the vice-chairperson.

Other members of the committee include Richard Jarju (secretary general), Pa Omar Touray (assistant secretary general), Joseph Joe Colley (treasurer), Pa Edi Camara (assistant treasurer), Alagie Amat Cham (public relations officer), Alagie Drammeh (auditor), Alagie Mass Njie (liaison officer), Abdoulie Sallah (ground manager), Kabba Jallow and Hatib Janneh (advisers).

The twelve-member committee replaced Musa Mendy and his team, who earlier tendered their resignations two weeks back after a fall out with nawettan team in the Serrekunda West zone.
