Bakau keep alive their dream of defending Muhammed Yahya Jammeh Zonal Cup after a 1-0 win against mighty Serrekunda East side last evening.

Bakau's rescuer in the final group match, Abdoulie Jatta, scored the only goal of the match in the 32nd minute. Standing between them [Bakau] and the coveted title, are arch rivals Banjul who earlier beat Gunjur in penalties on Saturday after a goalless draw in full time.

The grand final, which is scheduled for Sunday, January 4, will be the repeat of last year's fiercely contested final, which was won by Bakau after a 1-0 victory.
