Bravo, Mr President

Editor,

I am a Gambian based in New York. As a one time sports broadcaster, I have been following the developments of the Baby Scorpions, and I have utmost appreciation of the magnificent performance they gave in Algeria, not only raising the Gambian flag to a high level but again making history repeat itself. This reminds me of  one Alhagie BIRI BIRI.

We can all contribute in any positive form in national development - it could be sports, politics, religion, culture etc. I cannot end without recognising the gesture of the president of the Republic, for his efforts when it comes to sports. President Jammeh is not a politician but a real sport pundit. BRAVO, MR PRESIDENT and all those who enjoy sports.
Keep sporting.
