Could you please amend your format?

Editor,

I wish to take this opportunity to brief the immigration authorities to improve their National Identity Card format.  National ID card of any nation enable its security personnel do their job efficiently and effectively. Qualified people need ID card and many have it but lost.  When you look at the card, no contact number is there to easily help the owner see his/her ID card quickly when it is lost.

Moreover, the quality of the ID is not enough, and this makes it rough and destroyed easily. Some travellers will give their passports to the officers and when asked, some officers still insist on national ID card issuance forgetting that it is ID card that enable you to have that passport.

I humbly write to the authorities to make amendment on the ID card and also allow travellers who are with their passports.

I thank you for your good job and wish you all the best.
