Journalism goes with responsibility

africa » gambia
Tuesday, December 23, 2008
Editor,

I am a Gambian living out of The Gambia but my heart and mind are always home in The Gambia. I love every thing about The Gambia; the people, the weather, water, the fish and so on.

I want to send this message to every one - Gambians and non Gambians - who are trying to bring war and hardship in The Gambia by their pens or their mouths.

Journalism goes with a great responsibility, and we should all know that Allah (SWT) will ask every one about how they handled their responsibilities. If any one is looking for opportunity in the west, please, let them do so with dignity and not by waging war on Allah. Gambian people will never forgive anyone who brings war or conflict to their peaceful land for any reason whatsoever.

May Allah (SWT) protect The Gambia, her people and all the peace-loving people throughout the world. Thank you so much for your work. Sincerely yours.
