KMC Red Cross to hold Miss, Master competition

The Kanifing Municipal Red Cross branch is set to organise its annual Miss and Master Miming competition.

The event will be held at the Alliance Franco Gambienne, on 28th February 2009. The programme is part of a series of fundraising activities for the association. The Gambia Red Cross Association is a voluntary association which renders assistance to people in different aspects of life, especially in emergency situations.

Alliance Franco hosts art exhibition, Lawrence Toyinbo  an Arts lecturer at Marina International School, is currently exhibiting his artistic works at the Alliance Franco Gambienne on Kairaba Avenue. The exhibition takes place from the 14th to 28th February 2009.

It features different artistic works such as batik, wall hangings, African paintings and pen drawings. Lawrence Toyinbo is a member of ASSET. He is creative, hard working and committed artist.
