Wednesday, April 22, 2009
Children from the New Apostolic Church in Germany, last Sunday, April 12, 2009  made a presentation of 1000 exercise books and pencils to their agemates at the New Apostolic Church in The Gambia.

Axel Muenster, bishop and vice president of the Church made the presentation on behalf of the children from Germany shortly after leading a service at their Bundung-based administrative office opposite Bundung Magistrates Court. According to Bishop Axel, the donation came as a result of the need felt by the children in Germany. He said they later arranged themselves to collect money in order to provide support to their age groups in The Gambia. He said the donation is meant to enable children to make best use of what they learn at school.

He expressed hope that the donation will greatly help the children in their learning process. Carlos Domingos, district elder and representative of the Church, said the educational materials will be distributed among the congregation across the country. Larso Manneh, member of the group of children who received the donated items, thanked the donors for their support.
