The National Women's Farmers Associaton (NAWFA) recently distributed over five hundred bednets to Armitage Senior Secondary School in Janjangbureh, Central River Region.

The principal of the school, Ebrima M Joof, applauded the malaria control office through NAWFA for distributing five hundred and fifty bednets in his school. He said this will not only reduce malaria among students, but will also address absenteeism from school, as according to him, if absenteeism is addressed, quality education will be achieved.

He used the opportunity to thank one Abdoulie Barry of MRC who also donated medicament to the school recently. Babu Ndow who distributed the bednets, called on the beneficiaries to make best use of the nets as they will help reduce the occurrence of malaria in the region.
