Once again, H.E. Prof. Alhaji Yahya AJJ Jammeh brings the blessings of Eid El Adha known as Tobaski to the children in SOS Children's Village Bakoteh and SOS Children's Village Basse when the two bulls sent by His Excellency arrived and ignited an atmosphere of joy, excitement and an expectation of festive moments.

Receiving the bulls from His Excellency The President in these festive and holy times did not come as a surprise to the children and mothers in the village as the goodwill gesture was highly expected by them from President Jammeh who always remembers them.

Less than a week later, the SOS children were again blessed with another goodwill gesture from His Excellency when 1000 cartons of chicken soup were sent to the SOS Children's Village Bakoteh, which were distributed between the two villages in Bakoteh and Basse, the Youth Village, our resettled youth, and families in the communities that are beneficiaries of our Family Strengthening Programme.

Mother Princess Pratt the mother speaker of SOS Children's Village Bakoteh expressing her happiness and appreciation said: "President Jammeh and his family never feel tired of giving to the SOS children; we are very much appreciative of his compassion towards the SOS family".

The management of SOS Children's Villages The Gambia would like to join the children, youth and mothers in extending our immense thanks and gratitude to H. E Prlf. Alhaji Yahya AJJ Jammeh and pray that God The Almighty will continue to bless and reward him and The Gambia abundantly.

"When God sends people with a beautiful heart, who care and have compassion; the orphaned and abandoned feel blessed".
