Sukuta 4 in court for violence

Four young people from Sukuta, Ebrima Bojang, Jerreh Nyako, Masireh Bojang and Rohey Cham, were yesterday, March 23, arraigned and jointly charged for assault before Kumba Sillah-Camara acting principal magistrate of the Bundung Magistrates Court, who then granted them bail in the sum of 20,000 each with two Gambian sureties.

They had all pleaded not guilty. According to the particulars of the offence, the four jointly assaulted one Tairu Cham of Sukuta from the same village and caused her actual bodily harm on August 3, 2008. The case was later adjourned to March. Corporal Sambo stood in for IGP.
