Tobaski cake for SoS children

The Sheraton Gambia Hotel Resort and Spa on Monday, 8 December presented a huge and delicious cake to the children of SoS Children's Village at Bakoteh for the celebration of Eid-Adha - 'Tobaski.'

Abby Sarr, Director of Public Relations of the Sheraton Hotel Resorts and Spa, did the presentation of the cake to the children of the SoS village. Oumou Taal, acting national director of the SoS Childrens' Villages, received the special 'Tobaski' pack on behalf of the children.

Welcoming the staff of the hotel to the village premises during the presentation, Haddy Touray, Bakoteh SoS village director expressed gratitude for the kind gesture. Oumou Taal thanked the management and staff of Sheraton for their benevolence.

According to her: "Many people think that we do not need this type of kind gestures, but we do." In her remarks, Abby Sarr, director of public relations of the Sheraton Hotel said since everyone is in the festive mood, it is good for the children to also enjoy and rejoice on Tobaski day. She then commended the SoS mothers for taking good care of the children of the village.
