1.6 million NIA theft case adjourned

The ongoing 1.6 million dalasi theft case involving two NIA officers, Baboucarr Jallow and Demba Sowe was yesterday mentioned and adjourned before Acting Principal Magistrate Kumba Sillah-Camara of the Bundung Magistrates Court.

The duo were charged for conspiracy and abuse of office. When the case was called, the accused persons were present but both the defense counsel, Lamin Camara and the deputy public prosecutor, Richard Chenge were not present in court. Magistrate Kumba Sillah-Camara told the court that the case was scheduled for yesterday and adjourned to June (1) for prosecution witness (PW9) to testify.
