Man gets D3,000 bail bond

Baboucarr Lowe, who is charged with careless driving, was on Tuesday granted a court bail to a sum of D3,000, after pleading not guilty on charges preferred against him.

According to the particulars of offence, Baboucarr Lowe, on or about 27th August, 2007, was driving a motor vehicle (BJL 4505 E), along Kotu and

Kololi Highway
, when he had an accident, because of careless driving.  

When the charge sheet was read to him, he pleaded not guilty. However, he was granted a court bail to the sum of D3,000 with a Gambian surety.

Consenquently, the case was adjourned to 13th   November, 2007, for another hearing.    Police Prosecutor Sergeant 1042 Kujabi, stood in for the IGP.

The case was presided over by Senior Magistrate Buba Jawo of the Bundung Magistrates' Court.
