In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful - Love Allah

"Say: "If ye do love Allah, follow me: Allah will love you and forgive you your sins(Sura Al-Imran V.31).

It is stated in a hadith related by Ibnu Majah that: A man came to the Prophet (may the blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) and said:
O Messenger of Allah, direct me to an act which, if I do it, (will cause) Allah to love me and people to love me: He said: Renounce the world and Allah will love you, and renounce what people possess and people will love you".
Love is like Power within all creatures.  It directs and guides a particular person to what he loves.  It is because of love (affection) that:
There is friendship.

Life is not difficult in this world.
There is enjoyment and peace.
Parents adore their children.
Children too follow their parents and listen to them.
Husbands and wives live in harmony.
Even the animals enjoy being together in peace.  Love is a message from the Almighty to man on earth.  If love is applied as Allah stated, there would be no wars or evil doings.  Everyone would be happy and help one another to live in peace.
He love, above all, is the one that exists between man and our Creator.  The love for Allah is invisible.  It means that man should follow the right path.  In doing so, the Almighty will love you.  They are as follows:
Believe that there is only one God.

He gives and takes away from man.
No one should doubt His judgement.  He has is own court.
Allah is the only one man should pray to, because He gives the one who gives to you.
Allah is above us all.
If you pray to Allah, your prayers will be answered; but if you pray to any other, then your wish will not be granted.

Take care of what He wants and avoid what He forbids.
Surrender to the Almighty wholeheartedly; know that you are nothing before Him.
Pray to Him, when in something good and when in trouble, so that He will separate you from evil.
Prophet Mohammad (SAWS) advised Ibnu Abass that a child should be disciplined so that Allah will love him. Also, Ibnu Abass narrated it in a hadith that: "One day, I was behind the Prophet (SAWs) and he said to me:
"Young man, I shall teach you some words of advice:
Be mindful of Allah and Allah will protect you.  Be mindful of Allah and you will find him in front of you.  If you ask  Allah, if you seek help from Allah, know that if the whole nation were to gather together to benefit you with anything, it would benefit you only with the approval of Allah or something prescribed for you. And that if they gather together to harm you, they will only harm with something that Allah had already prescribed for you.  The pens have been lifted and the pages have dried".

Man should pray only to Allah who has everything and always.  Allah holds the keys of treasures of man's well-being.  Sura Munafiqun states in V.7: "They are the ones who say, spread nothing on those who are with Allah's Messenger, fill they disperse (and quit Madinah).  But to Allah belongs the treasures of the heavens and the earth; but the hypocrites understand not".

Allah orders man to pray to Him wherever he is at anytime. And He will give him what he's prayed for as stated in Sura Gafir V.60:" And your Lord says call on Me.
I will answer your (prayer).  "But those who are too arrogant to serve Mohammad (SAWs) as stated in a hadith that is among the sayings he relates from Allah that He said:
O my servants, I have forbidden oppression for myself and have made it forbidden amongst you.  So do not oppress one another.

"O my servants, all of you are astrayed, except for those I have guided, so seek guidance of me and I shall guide you.  O my servants, all of you are hungry, except for those I have fed, so seek food of me and I shall feed you.  O my servants, all of you are naked, except for those I have clothed, so seek clothing from me and I shall clothe you.  O my servants, you sin by night and by day and I forgive all your sins, so seek forgiveness of me and I shall forgive you.

O my servants, you will not attain harming me so as to harm me, and you will attain benefiting me so as to benefit me.
O my servants, were the first of you and the last of you and the last of you, the human of you and the Jinn of you to be to be as pious as the most pious heart of anyone that would not increase my Kingdom in anything.  O my servants, were the first of you and the last of you, that would not increase my Kingdom in anything.

O my servants, were the first of you and the last of you, the human of you and the jinn of you to be as wicked as the most wicked heart of any of you, that would not decrease my Kingdom in anything.
O my servants, were the first of you and the last of you, the human of you and the jinn of you to be as wicked as the most wicked heart of anyone of you, that would not decrease my Kingdom in anything.

O my servants, were the first of you and the last of you, the human of you and the jinn of you, to rise up in one place and made a request of me.
O my servants, it is but your deeds that I reckon you and then recompense you, so let him who finds good, praise Allah and let him who finds other than that blame no one, but himself.
