Monday, November 05, 2007

Gambian international Ousman Jallow aided his Asian club, FC Al Ain to an inspirational 3-1 victory over United Arab Emirates league title holders, Al-Wasl on Saturday, November 3.

Despite failing to write his name on the score sheet in Saturday's home encounter, Ousman Jallow was a key player in Al Ain third goal scored by Ali Al-Wahibi in the opening stages of the second-half.

Former Casablanca striker Soufiane Aloudi notched a brace from the spot after 16 and 90 minutes to cancel out Andre Dias's opener for visitors Al-Wasl in the 11th minute.

The win saw Al Ain climb up to six position on the league table,   while Al-Wasl slipped down to second-from-bottom spot in the table.
