President Yahya  Jammeh has decided to transfer the portfolio of National Assembly matters from the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Honourable Crispin Grey Johnson to the Secretary of State for Fisheries and Water Resources,Honorable Capt (Rtd) Yankuba Touray, effective November 7, 2007 according to a press release issued by the Office of the Secretary - General.

In further restructuring of Portfolios and acting in accordance with Section 72(1) of the Constitution, His Excellency ,The President of the Republic of The Gambia, Alhaji Dr Yahya AJJ Jammeh has decided to assign the responsibility for National Assembly Matters from the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, the Honourable Crispin Grey Johnson to the Secretary of State for Fisheries and Water Resources, Honourable Capt. Yankuba Touray with effect from Wednesday 7th November 2007.
