The Scorpions also moved one place up in the overall rankings from 112th to 111th, Fifa's world rankings for November has revealed. The Scorpions made their biggest move in 2007, jumping from 37th in February to 30th in November 2007 - thanks to their heroic performances in the 2008 Nations Cup qualifiers. Nigeria maintained their place as Africa's highest ranked team. The Super Eagles dropped down one place in the overall rankings from 19 to 20. Second-placed Cameroon also dropped one place from 23 to 24.
