National Assembly commences sitting

The National Assembly has issued a statement informing the general public of the commencement of its third meeting in the 2008 legislative year.

The rerlease states that the meeting would start from Monday, 20th October, to Monday 27th October 2008, at 5pm, daily, in the National Assembly Chambers on Independence Drive, Banjul.

The release further states that in view of the fact that only limited seating are available in the public gallery, any member of the general public, diplomatic and consular corps, NGO's/Civil societies and the media, who may wish to attend, may do so upon application to the office of the clerk.
