The caller would refer to George Smith in The Gambia as a trustworthy partner/agent of their company. To further convince the buyer, the caller would give the buyer a direct number that would link him with the suspect for this false transaction. George had been engaged in this scam for quite a while before most of his victims started realize that something was wrong. According to the information gathered by Crime Watch, George Smith always used the same trick on each victim. Moreover he operated within Kotu and its environs. If a the victim should response positively and call the phone number given by the anonymous caller, George would swing into action and commence the transaction. He would present five fake injection sized bottles containing some liquid to his clients. He was nabbed with the collaboration of some of his victims. He had arranged one of them, a prominent man, to meet at the Elton Petrol Station in Kotu for the delivery and payment of five bottles of the animal vaccine. The victim, who had suspected the whole transaction to be nothing but an illusion, quickly alerted the police. ASP Secka said that the culprit was finally caught with his proclaimed Zulu Solution and arrested at the front of the Elton Petrol Station in Kotu where he was trying to close the deal.
