Seyfo Soley hoping for Norwich contract![]() Friday, October 17, 2008 Gambia international, Seyfo Soley, who is currently on trial with English Championship club, Norwich City, says he hopes to win a permanent deal with the Norfolk side. The 28-year-old former Banjul Hawks player has been without a club since leaving the English Championship side, Preston FC, in 2007, although he has had trials with the likes of Premier League club, Stoke City and Scottish Premier League side, Motherwell FC. Recently, Norwich City manager Glenn Roeder offered the unsettled Gambian the chance to earn a deal with the Canaries. Soley is hopeful that he has done enough to impress staff at the East Anglian club to offer him a permanent deal. "I am very proud to be on trial at Norwich City," Soley stated. It seems that Soley is quite confident of winning a contract, adding: "Hopefully I will convince them to give me a contract, and with the help of God and my talent it should not be a problem." "I am experienced enough." If successful, Seyfo Soley will join his Gambian brother, Omar Koroma, who is with Norwich on a one-year loan from the Premier League side Portsmouth.
