One Essa Manneh, was on Monday arraigned before Senior Magistrate Abdoulie Mbake of the Kanifing Magistrates Court on charges of stealing.

According to the particulars of the offense, Essa Manneh on 9th October, 2008, at London Corner in the Kanifing Municipality, entered the dwelling of one Massally, and stole 28,000 CFA  from his bag.

When the charge sheet was read to him, he pleaded guilty.

Police Prosecutor Corporal 385 Sarr applied for the case to be adjourned as facts concerning the case were not available. Senior Magistrate Mbake thus adjourned the case to Thursday 30th October, 2008.  Magistrate Mbake also ordered that Essa Manneh be under the custody of the police until then.
