In a bid to promote quality education in the Gambia, on Thursday, the Jamwelly Charity Foundation donated learning materials to Jamwelly Nursery School at a ceremony held at Jamwelly, Kombo North, Western Region. The donated items included a generator.

Handing over the donated items, Hinda Dudgeon, a member of the foundation, reiterated their resolve to take part in educational development in The Gambia. She disclosed that the Foundation has, as part of its plans, the aim of sponsoring many schools in the country. According to Hinda, the foundation recently sponsored 25 children within the country.

Officially receiving the donated items, the headmistress of the school, Isatou Bah, expressed delight and promised that the items will be put to good use. She thanked the philanthropists for a job well done.  The Alkalo of the village also expressed similar sentiments.
