Senior Magistrate Abdoulie Mbake of the Kanifing Magistrates Court yesterday convicted and sentenced one Abdou Kadry Taal, a Senegalese to six months imprisionment for stealing.

The accused was also ordered to pay a fine of D5,500 to cover the cost of two mobile phones stolen from the complainant, John Gomez, in default to serve another three month imprisionment term, which would run concurrently with the first.

The convict is to be deported after serving his jail sentences
