Justice BY Camara and Na Ceesay Sallah-Wadda, both judges of the High Court in Banjul, who were sometime this year sacked, have been reinstated to their respective positions, with immediate effect, the Daily Observer can reveal.

According to reliable sources closed to the judiciary, the two high court judges were reinstated with immediate effect and they will accordingly start work at the high court in their respective positions.

It could be recalled that BY Camara, a former Principal Magistrate at the Banjul Magistrates Court, who was later promoted to the position of High Court judge, was sacked in early July this year.

And Na Ceesay Sallah-Wadda was sacked later in September, following the escape of Charlie Northfield, former managing director of Carnegie Minerals Company.
