Friday, October 31, 2008

Olaitan Babatunde, a Nigerian based in The Gambia, is currently working on his second album which he intends to release in November. The album entitled 'I am 4 wonder', will comprise nine tracks both on CD and audio cassette.

Some of the hit tunes in the upcoming album are 'What is man' and 'Santa-Yalla'. "My debut album was released in 2005 and since then, we've been working day in day out to put something on the market. I believed now is the right time to do that," he said in a recent interview with What's On.

According to him, the album is a kind of African gospel music.  The album will feature some Gambian artists such as Pa Omar Jack, Marion George of Africell fame.  "This wonderful masterpiece will be something people will find interesting. It gives a message of hope," he added.
