One Dr Tunday Adams was on Wednesday paraded before Senior Magistrate BO Jobe of the Bundung Magistrate Court charged with criminal trespass.

According to the particulars of the offense, Mr Adams, on the 28th of July 2008, at Bakoteh, wilfully and unlawfully entered the house of one John Ogbuokiri and Charles Chaowa with the intent to intimidate, annoy and insult.  He pleaded guilty when the charge sheet was read to him.

According to the prosecution, the accused person is the two men's landlord.

According to witnesses, the incident occurred on July 28, 2008, while the two men were away for church service. Upon their arrival, they discovered that the doors of their house had been removed. The two men then went to the Bakoteh Police Station to lodge their complaint.

Asked about possible suspects, they both pointed to their landlord, with whom they were said to be having a dispute over rent. At that juncture, the police went to arrest the accused and later interrogated him. 

According to one prosecution witness, ASP Camara, the accused person informed the police that he only broke into the house to get the two men out of his premises and had done this in their absence to avoid any interference.

Police Prosecutor ASP Camara applied for an adjournment in order to call more witness.  Magistrate BO Jobe granted his application.  The case was then adjourned to 10 November 2008.
