One Jim Jobe, a man accused of threatening to kill one Ebrima Barry with a cutlass, was recently sent to remand at the State Central Prison by Senior Magistrate Sainabou Wadda-Ceesay of the Kanifing Magistrates Court.

The incidence was said to have occurred in December 2007 in Dippa Kunda.  He however refuted the charge.  He further told the court that he wished to engage the services of a counsel.

Police prosecutor Sub-Inspector Fadara asked the court to deny the accused bail as he is a violent man and a potential threat to the public.His request was granted and the accused was sent to Mile Two until the next session which was set for December 2nd 2008.
