The Daily Observer has learnt that three chiefs in the Lower River Region (LRR), yesterday, received their marching orders. A press release from the department of state of Local Government and Lands states that the chiefs were been replaced with immediate effect.

According to the release Chief Alhagie Yahya Jarjusey of Soma was replaced by Ebrima Kinteh of Pakalinding who will be serving as acting chief of Jarra West.

Chief Alhagie Momodou Njie of Kiang West District is being replaced by Omar Gibba of Mandina village, as acting Chief, also chief Ansumana Sanneh is replaced by Alhagie Cherno Sanneh of Kaiaf, also as acting Chief."
