Unique Observer What makes you so different?

Editor,

Precisely, you are the choice of the people. You stand as the voice of the voiceless. The strength of the weak. "You are the poor people defendant," says the famous Musician Capleton.

So keep the ball rolling and thereby I won't hesitate to salute you with a bigger Bravo and Well done!!!!

Prior to standardising justice and equality to all Gambians, I believe you are just doing what is really expected of you as a medium of communication - media house.

I have been appreciating your concern for the average Gambians which undoubtedly results in positive remarks or actions by the SUBJECTS. To lament on few among a lot is your representation of the voice of the market vendors that spilt all over your premises crying out for help in your last week edition and that of Momodou Sanneh's visa rejection case.

However, following the reaction of the subject involved - The British Embassy - I think and see it ridiculous for a fresh visa application by Momodou. It will be very unfair to collect additional fund from him when futility might be the possible result again.

On that note, I will suggest Momodou's visa application proceedings to be picked up from where you stopped with him, get him guided along until a positive/negative result understandably arise.  I understand and know fully that no institution or body will compromise their service rules or conduct in a way to satisfying their customers.  Rather it will be very unsympathetic to re-collect fees from poor Momodou.

Ebrima Kalilula

Dukuray

Editor's Note:

I tell you what, Ebrima. Assuming my Board doesn't fire me for making this promise, the Daily Observer will pay the fee for Momodou's visa application to the British Embassy when he applies next.
