Armitage twin school in UK back again

Armitage twin school in UK Bromsgrove High school are on an eleven day exchange visit at Armitage Senior Secondary School in Janjanbureh, CRR. Bromsgrove school forged a strong link with Armitage school in 1987.

In welcoming their twin partners at a ceremony on Sunday February 3rd, held at the school grounds, Ebrima Joof, Principal, Armitage Senior Secondary School commended Bromsgrove school for their visit and the laudable assistance they have been rendering to the school. He said that since the inception of the link, Armitage have been benefiting a lot. He revealed that Bromsgrove High school have built and equipped their school library and rehabilitated their septic tanks.

The chairman, Board of Governors of Armitage, Kaunding Tambedou, said that Armitage senior school is one of the oldest in the country.

He elucidated that the assistance Bromsgrove High school have been rendering to Armitage will go a long way in improving the quality of education. He thanked the staff for their hard work and dedication.

Mike Hendley, a teacher from Bromsgrove highlighted the brief history of the link which he said started as a penpal link. He said the visit will give them the opportunity to meet some of the many friends they have made since the link began.

The ceremony was characterised by cultural performance.
