Frankfort and Zam Zam FC will lock horns in a final of a football tournament dubbed AFPRC Victory Celebration Football tournament at Serrekunda Central Park on Saturday, February 9. Organised by the Serrekunda Central Sports Committee, the competition is sponsored by Mrs Neneh Macdoll-Gaye, Secretary of State for Communication and Information Technology, who is also expected to take the grand kick-off in Saturday's final.

In an interview with Observer Sports yesterday, Momodou Manneh, secretary general of the Serrekunda Central Sports Committee said, a record 40 teams took part in the football competition that is meant to celebrate APRC's victory in the last Presidential elections. He said the competition was suspended some time back due to the busy schedules of the sponsor, SoS Neneh Macdoll-Gaye, as well as to upgrade the community park to ensure a successful final.

Describing the competition as mouth-watering, secretary-general Manneh also heaped praises in SoS Macdoll-Gaye for what he called as her 'unflinching support' to the youths of the area.

He final called on the sports fans to come out and cheer up the finalists in Saturday's final at popular Mboyo football field in Serrekunda Central.
