GNL pays 4 lucky winners

The Gambia National Lottery (GNL), last Friday paid more than D33,000 to four lucky winners of their last Monday quarte Jackpot.

The winners- Jewru Jarra of Bakoteh, Momodou Jallow of Bakoteh, Baboucarr Jammeh of Latrikunda and Alhagie Ngum of Serrekunda, each walked away with more than D17,000.

Handing over the cheques to the winners, Demba Fanta Bojang, managing director of the Gambia National Lottery thanked their esteem customers for always patrionising the GNL. According to him, the jackpot was not the whole lot but due to principles and the jackpot rolled for one week, it should be paid.

He briefed the customers on the error that occured in the parisportif jackpot 4-4 on match 8 which was not correctly fixed and assured the customers that the error will never happen again. He then surprised the customers by announcing that due to th error, the said match will be a bonus to all customers, adding that the game is now deffered to the next competition. He then called on the people to keep the momentum and patrionise the GNL in their endeavours to contribute to national development.

Malick Sabally, assistant Marketing manager, GNL,  chaired the ceremony and also called on the people to patronise the GNL.
