Division One League enters Week Seven today

Wednesday, March 19, 2008

The National Division One league season will enter its Week Seven stage with three thrilling fixtures underway today. The league title holders, Real de Banjul, will return to action in less than seventy-two hours after their last derby meeting with Wallidan, when they take on the struggling Bakau United side at the Serrekunda West Mini-stadium.

Elsewhere, Samger will be hoping to extend their lead on the table when they lock horns with Hawks at the Serrekunda East Mini-stadium. The current second best on the table, Armed Forces, will round up today's fixtures when they square up against Sait Matty at the Independence Stadium.

On Thursday, Wallidan will go for another derby tie when they take Ports Authority at the Serrekunda East Mini-stadium, the same day Interior face Steve Biko at the Independence Stadium.

The embattled Sea View will still look for their first win when they take on stumbling Gamtel at the Serrekunda West Mini-stadium in the Week Seven final tie.
