Reports from Dakar hospital have disclosed that Little Jainaba is responding to treatment as the swelling of her eye has completely disappeared.

In an interview with the Daily Observer, Mr Andrew DaCosta, Deputy Managing Director who also doubles as a trustee to Little Jainaba's account said "I spoke to Ms Emily Ben, one of the medical assistances to the professor treating Little Jainaba on the phone yesterday and the good news is that Jainaba is responding to treatment.

According to Ms Ben, the swelling of her eye has completely disappeared. Ms Ben also confirmed that one of Jainaba's eye will be saved" . Mr DaCosta added that Little Jainaba's mother, Isatou Barry, also confirmed to him that the professor treating Jainaba said Little Jainaba would definately lose one of her eye. " She said Jainaba's turmor operation will be done next week.

As a trustee to Little Jainaba's account , I thank all those who contributed towards the treatment of Jainaba". DMD DaCosta also disclosed that a total balance of D160,010 is left in Little Jainaba's account. We thank all those people who contributed so much to help Jainaba including the First Lady Madam Zineb Jammeh.

CAUTION: Although we are excited about the complete disappearance of Little Jainaba's swelling, the actual tumour will have to be removed through a risky operation. We pray for her to come safely through the operation.
