Boost for Lions Heart Handball team

Lions Heart Handball team on Friday, March 28, received sporting equipments from a Norwegian colleague in the person Mr Ketil Moen at a presentation ceremony held at the Independence Stadium, Bakau.

The items include balls, training shoes, track-suits, jerseys and hand-pump. Handing over the gear to the beneficiaries, Mr Moen a handball coach backhome in Norway who is also a regular visitor to the Smiling Coast said he deemed it necessary to contribute his quota to the development and promotion of handball in the country. He urged the recipients to make good use of the materials.

Ben Hooper, secretary general of the team, on behalf of his colleagues, thanked Ketil Moen for the kindly gesture that could not have come a better time. He promised that the equipment will be put into a good use for the good of handball in the country.

The presentation ceremony was attended by the officials and players of Lions Heart team and other invited guests.
