The Banjul and Serrekunda Fire and Rescue Service recently donated 26 Units of blood to the Blood Bank of the Royal Victoria Teaching Hospital (RVTH) in Banjul on.

Speaking during the mobile session, Alhaji E E Sarr, blood recruitment officer stressod the importance of blood donation and appealed to other institutions to emulate the Fire and Rescue Service. He quickly stressed the need for people to donate blood saying 'the blood you give can save so many lives'.
