The leading contenders in the GFA Division One League - Samger, Wallidan and Real de Banjul, have all failed to garner the three points in their last night meetings with their respective opponents.

While Real de Banjul can be proud of a point after a 1-1 draw against Steve Biko at the Serrekunda East Mini-stadium, both Wallidan and Samger fell victims to their opponents as league season nears it half-way stage.

Buba Conteh's first interval goal aided Sea View ease past mighty Wallidan 1-0 in a thrilling encounter at the Independence Stadium.

Sait Matty-Africell also ran riot at the Serrekunda West Mini-stadium with a 3-0 battering of the league leaders, Samger, who despite the setback consolidated their lead on the table.

Goals from Lamin, Nicola Jatta and Cherno Njie were enough for the Serrekunda East side to walk away with their tails folded between their legs.
