Organisation in the Spotlight Demo Youth Oganization

Today we explore another young but formidable organization in town, the Demo Youth organization. Its founding members cannot exactly remember when they formed it, but as far as they can remember, they have been together since childhood. The original membership of the organization come from the village of Kudang, in Nyamina East, Central River Region.

This makes it one that evolves from childhood fraternity to an organization that have now transformed itself into social development oriented one.
 
They hold on to the beleif that the development of any group of people or society cannot take place if every one within that societal set up remains aloof and do things in solitary confinement. Development and progress, they argue, can only be at our doorstep if we work together as partners to achieve our common goals. It is on such a basis of thinking that this fantastic idea of setting up "the Demo Youth Association". They seek to strengthen already existing cordial relationship between them and their partner organizations.

AIMS

The aims of Demo youth, among others, include cementing acquaintenses, helping to give both moral and financial support to their members, helping in giving support to the rural poor, in accordance with their capacity.

As par their operational oprandus, Demo youth has, at the center of its focus, HIV/AIDS AND Malaria, as well as other scourges in society.

MEMBERSHIP

Any person within their age group, who wishe to join the association, is to pay an agreed amount of 40% of their monthly contribution. And,  a member who is within the range of their age bracket who are willing to pay monthly subscirptions upon registration, can be registered prior to his/her acceptance of the postulate of their constitution. Membership is open to both male and female.
