Scorpions camp in full house

The last contingent of invited overseas players arrived yesterday to join the Scorpions camp ahead of Gambia's Group Six opener against Liberia this weekend.

Tijan Jaiteh, Njogu Demba, Abdou Jammeh, Dawda Bah, Demba Savage and Edrissa Sonko have all breezed into Banjul to join in camp the likes of Ebou Sillah, Ebrahim Sawaneh, Mathew Mendy, Kamal Ndow, Pa Saikou Kujabi, Mustapha Jarju, Modou Jagne and Pa Modou Jagne.

Suspensions

The Scorpions will go to Liberia without for key players.

Strikers Ousman Jallow  and Assan Jatta and defenders Lamin Conateh and Paco Corr are suspended for their involvement in fracas during Gambia's home game against Algeria on the final day of the 2008 Nations Cup qualifiers.The quartet will not be also available for selection when The Gambia host Senegal a week after the Liberia tie.
