Editor,

My name is ...... from Raleigh North Carolina and I was the gentleman that wanted to stay anonymous when I donated the 20,000.00 dalasis when Daily Observer made the announcement, for Jainaba and my father ............ delivered the funds to the MD.

I just want to say that I am so sorry for the family and am sending my condolences to everyone that participated and the well wishers of this precious little girl especially FATOU KANYI who I talked to on certain occasion to know how Little Jainaba was progressing. Please accept this in good faith, and inshallah the LORD ALMIGHTY ALLAH will open the doors of HEAVEN for her.

Please EDITOR you people are doing a great job in touching peoples lives and I just want to say thank you for the weight you people lifted off JAINABA'S parents and the other good gesture that you and the good CITIZENS OF THE GAMBIA are always participating on, this is really what is expected of every CITIZENRY ,but not a BIRTH CERTIFICATE just to show for it and claim a CITIZEN... GODBLESS DAILY OBSERVER AND GOD BLESS THE GAMBIA ...........,

Raleigh, North Carolina

Editor's Note:

We thank you so much Sir. We appreciate your words of sympathy as the newsroom is quite sad today. We also appreciate your kind words on what we are doing here at the Daily Observer - you set a heavy task for us and we will try to live up to it.

We would like to know what the contributors want us to do with the rest of Little Jainaba's money (dalasi 149,773 left). Our initial thoughts are to share it equally between Little Jai's mother, father and grandmother since they are all very poor. But tell us what you want.

Editor,

Please accept my sympathy for the death of dear Little Jainaba whose treatment in Dakar I have been following with keen interest since you lauched the campaign to support her treatment. I wish to extend my condelence to her family and relatives. Indeed I read the breaking news today with mixed feeling and thank you very much for your brilliant support and thank all those who supported her. May her soul rest in perfect peace.

"Mamudou Max Jallow, UK"

Editor's Note: Thank you MK Jallow, for your kind words.
