Momodou Drammeh, a photographer residing in Tallinding, Serrekunda East, on Monday filed a civil suit before principal magistrate Buba Jawo, against Photo Star Enterprise, for allegedly spoiling three used films belonging to him.

When the case was called, Juju BS Fadera, assistant manager of the Photo Star Enterprise, who represent the company's management, denied the claim of the plaintiff.

At that juncture, the presiding magistrate adjourned the case to Monday 19th May 2008.

According to the particulars, Momodou Drammeh is claiming from the defendant, Photo Star Enterprise, the sum of D2,700 being the cost of photographic films which were spoilt in the defendant's possession.

The plaintiff, a regular customer of the enterprise, took three used films to the defendant's shop for development. The films got spoiled whilst under the defendant's custody. The plaintiff requested for repayment of the films, but he was refused by the company.
