The Gambia National Lottery (GNL), last Friday, presented a cheque amounting to D75,000, to five lucky winners of their quarterly jackpot raffle draw.

The winners; Gibril Joof, Mumini Jallow, Pa Mulai Senghore, Badou Corr and Toma Badjie, were each presented with a cheque for D15,700.

Speaking at the presentation ceremony, Fabakary Jammeh, Marketing Manager, GNL, said that his company remained committed to paying its clients. "For our products and services, the sky is the limit. We will continue to play our quota towards the socio-economic development of The Gambia.

We are proud to be associated with the government of The Gambia in meaningful development ventures," he said.

Mr Bojang also assured that his company would continue to create more job opportunities for Gambian youths in different areas of interest, while calling on the public to patronize their products and services by trying their chances with his company's products. He then re-echoed their slogan: "With GNL everyone can be a winner."

Amadou Marena, Chief Accountant of GNL, thanked the winners for their efforts in playing their products. He called on other members of the public to buy their products and increases their chances of winning.

In an interview with the Daily Observer, one of the lucky winners, Gibril Joof, a resident of Sanyang Village in Kombo South, commended GNL "for the good job they are rendering to The Gambian people.

He said he had been playing GNL products for over five years, and that being a driver by profession, the money he had won would help him a lot as he intended to utilize it for meaningful development. He  then called on people to play GNL products as they can also become lucky winners. Present at the ceremony were other GNL officials and a cross section of the community.
